Geography – Weather around the world. Improving our environment.
Literacy – ‘Myths and Legends’, ‘Instructional Texts’, ‘Adventures and Mysteries’ and ‘Authors and Letters’
Maths – Counting, partitioning and calculating. Securing Number facts and understanding shape. Handling data and measures. Calculating, measuring and understanding shape. Securing Number facts relationships and calculating.
R.E – Judaism and Christianity
PSHE – ‘Going for Goals’ and ‘Good to be me’.
Science – Habitats, food chains and living things, humans and animals and rocks and Soils
D.T- Magnetic rainforest scene and building a volcano.
Art – Rainforest art and volcano based art.
Music – Guitars and Choir.
I.C.T – Sending email and databases.
P.E/Games – Symmetry and asymmetry, country dance and pathway Explorers.
PE days: Every Monday and Thursday.
PE kit: Red polo shirt, green shorts/tracksuit bottoms and tracksuit top, plimsolls and trainers. No jewellery, no hard headbands, no hair clips; jewellery that cannot be removed must be covered using a sweatband or tape.
Homework:Homework in homework books on a Monday and back by the Friday. Spellings, literacy and maths. – Sometimes topic or research for a subject.
